At the moment as im already bored, and know, think i myself. A good bit of lore, i thought i would throw one out here! This one will be for elves. Note here i will quickly go through an overview of elves as a wholes story, any questions/comments can be said, and we will discuss them until you agree that im right.
The first known elves where the Night Elves, who came to power a good bit of time after the Troll Empires, while the world still was young. And it is actually speculated, but not prooved, that elves are a mutation of trolls. The first elves where a native tribe, who found the hearth of the ancient continent Kalimdor, the Well of Eternity. After some time living at the shores of the Well, it began affecting their intelligence, and grasp of magic, and they soon raised cities around it.
Soon two castees, the noble Highborne, and the common Night Elves. The Highborne were the favorites of Queen Azshara, both her Magisters and her Advisers. And the Night Elves where the common peasents.
There didnĀ“t go long before the elves reckless useage of Arcane magic was found out by the dark titan, who sought to destroy Azeroth and tricked the Highborne into creating a portal for him and his minions. Meanwhile, the Night Elves had been learning Druidism, and started an resistance against them with the aid of the Demigods known as the Ancients. This war was called the War Of The Ancients, and ended with Azeroth being save from the Burning Legion, but the Well of Eternity blowing up, shattering the world into the continents known today. Along with this, many of the Highborne, including their queen was sunken with their capital, but struck a pack with a sinister form, wich warped their bodies into the Nagas known today.
After this incident, the Night Elves banished the remaining Highborne for their usage of the Arcane magic. The Highborne, now calling themselves High elves moved across the sea, to what is now known as eversong and the Ghostlands, there they where met by the Amani troll forces, and enrolled the help of the human alliance to defeat them, and claim their new land. The High Elves where befuddled, the Trolls magic was stronger than theirs, and their magic was their main way to win the war. One of their magisters though found some of the ancient troll relics, and out from it created the very first amount of the magic that elves use today. The elves took an ancient Amani burial Grounds and made their new capital Quel'thalas, or Silvermoon, there. They lived there for a long time, until the Scourge marched upon their gates. Under the great war against the scourge, many of their people was slaughtered and raised to undeath, including the Ranger General Sylvannas(Might have spelled that wrong xP). Under the third war, the High elves where betrayed, and banded under their prince, Kael'thas Sunstrider, who renamed the race Blood Elves.
He went into the Outlands along with Illidan Stormrage, while some stayed behind to rebuild the capital. The Blood Elves mages, or magisters thinking the city would need another force of defense for the city, so they attempted to create an order of Paladins, they took a Naaru as prisoner, and tried to infuse the light with their Elves, and it worked! With that the Blood Knights where formed. But at a point, Keal'thas returned, with his now Felblood Elves and stole the Naaru from them.
This is pretty much all i can think of atm, remember all the lore i have just stated is what i know is right, and it might not be, that is what we will discuss down here, along with various questions and such!
